Dear UNCAC Coalition Team,I am working with the Lisbon Council (https://lisboncouncil.net/), a Brussels-based think tank engaged in multiple projects addressing corruption and currently involved in the implementation of the BridgeGap project.
BridgeGap (https://corruptiondata.eu/) is a Horizon four-year multidisciplinary research project aimed at bridging the gaps in evidence, regulation and impact of anti-corruption policies. More specifically, its goals are to fill the knowledge gaps about the extent and mechanisms of corruption infiltration in open societies and across borders; to assess and offer solutions to the digital transparency gaps; and, to assess public accountability and anticorruption regulation across the EU member states, and candidate states, to identify regulatory and impact gaps, thus addressing the academia – policy gap in corruption studies.
I am writing to ask whether the thematic communities created before CoSP10 plenary discussion are still active and whether I could sign up for the Civic Spaces community. My colleagues from the BridgeGap representing 15 partner organisations, mostly academic, from all over Europe, might be interested in other themes.
Another question is about the next CoSP plenary discussion. When is it anticipated, and shall I and others wait till a new thematic mailing list communities will be created? The project's team constitutes an impressive knowledge base and capacity that might contribute to achieving the Coalition's goals. Our cutting edge research, findings and recommendations might be of interest and value to the Coalition's discussions.Best regards,Evgenia--Evgenia Malikova
